A) Upgrade to the latest version of Opatch (12.2.0.1.9 or higher) which does not require wallet as a mandatory parameter with opatchauto.
OR
B) Steps to create wallet in 12.2.
1) Navigate to $GRID_HOME/OPatch/auto/core/bin.
2)As grid user :
./patchingWallet.sh -walletDir <Location with rw access to grid user, Example /u01/wallet> -create grid:node1:ssh grid:node2:ssh grid:node3:ssh … root:<node_name1>:ssh root:<node_name2>:ssh … -log <Location with rw access to grid user>/wallet.log
Replace the grid user above with owner of GI software. Replace the node names and number of nodes as applicable to the cluster. The command will prompt you for the GI software owner password on applicable nodes.
3) Once above script completes two files will be created in above wallet directory – cwallet.sso.lck and cwallet.sso.
4) Continue with the patching using opatchauto.
opatchauto apply /patches/XXXX -wallet <Location of the wallet folder>
